Remember the time, as a kid, you used to go for horse riding in fairs, wishing that you had one at home too! Well if you still are into thinking of buying a horse to pet around and enjoy a ride everyday then better be it, but before you get your horsey home, make sure you have ample space time and resources to take care of your friend. Horses need a lot of attention and maintenance on regular basis, else they might easily fall ill. PetAttack brings to you points to keep in mind and ways to take proper care of you equine friend.

8. Cost

10

Horses  or ponies, you better buy them only if you can, because here my friends the cost of maintenance will be more than the cost of buying. Yes, the food, space, shelter and medical care are going to cost you a lot more than you think you can think. Never mind if you are cousin of Richie-rich. In the end its all about loving and caring for your friend which can give you as along as 35 years of companionship.

7. Space

space

You wouldn’t just want to buy that four legged mammal just because you like riding it. It is not a dog or cat or a parrot that you can keep in your home or lap and pet around. A horse needs ample space and when I say ample it literally means a lot. It needs to roam, stride, run and most of all graze whole throughout the day. So unless you are rich enough to have a huge grassland in your backyard or you are one among the bunch of hippies, that move across lands, your friend won’t stay happy in your home.

6. Food

2

Horses eat a lot. They have got weak digestion so they cant take in and digest two meals a day like we humans do. They simply graze throughout the day. They mostly feed on hay and forage. Grains can be included in their food twice a day along with veggies like carrots and apples.

5. Grooming and Cleaning

HorseGrooming

Get your brushes out folks, its time you give a little grooming to your friend. If the horse is outside most of the time, don’t groom it too much, that removes the good  natural oils that keep it protected from weather. Grooming is a vital part of keeping a horse. You got to buy curry comb, stiff brush and not-stiff brush. If the horsey fur has got too dirty start with curry comb to brush of the dirt. Use a wet sponge, make your horse shine like a brilliant stallion. Brush the mane and tail with a comb. Try avoid getting kicked and for that don’t stay directly behind the horse. Believe me,you will not regret anything more than standing behind that tall legged creature.

Your horse might keep moving away from time to time while you brush and groom it. Try making them stand still by tying a quick release knot in the lead rope.

4. Hoof Picking

hoofpicking1

Here comes the most critical part of cleaning, the hoof picking. Probably you might not be knowing it, so please don’t try to do it yourself and hurt the horse or get kicked. It may be possible that your pet can get injured and never be able to run properly, so better contact a professional. A hoof pick is used for picking. Run your hand down his legs, press the fetlock and lift its foot. Be careful with the sensitive area that is the soft part called frog. Remove the dirt and small pebbles from the groove around the frog area.

3. Exercise

3

Your horse needs regular exercise. Take it out everyday for a ride or run into an open field or paddock. Make sure the fencing of the area where your horse moves around isn’t made of barbed wire else it may be a cause for injuries. After the exercise if it sweats too much don’t let it drink too much water, just few sips would do. Walk it around so that it cools off slowly. Go for the sweaty summer way, ride your horse and make him exercise while during winters keep it warm and don’t go hard on it. Sweat can be removed by wet sponge and again the grooming and cleaning with different brushes. There is no fixed time to groom your horse, do it when you feel like and do it properly and gently all over the body using different combs and curries. There are separate face brushes which can are made for the face, use sponge or cloth to clean the ears, eyes and nose. If you have multiple horses avoid using same wipes to prevent spreading of any infections.

2. Shelter

stable

So you have a got a huge house, a wide backyard, nearby some stretch of fields and a separate paddock for your horsey, but it needs its own house too. A stable, a barn or a shed would do. Covered from three sides, this would be where your horse would take refuge in summers, during cold and in rains. Make sure the place around is clean, stuffed with hay. Make sure the droppings are cleaned regularly and your horse has a clean and dry bedding of its own where it can rest away, even the smell can irritate your pet. Even when the horse is outside the muck should be regularly cleaned.

1. Care

horse smiling

Horses are gentle creatures. They just need your care and patience and they can be your best friends. Buy when only when you think you can fully take care of it. Regular medical checkup is necessary. Horses need to get Tetanus and other vaccinations once in a while and regular veterinary care. On any medical eventuality, the  costs are going to blow you away, so think before you wish to own your equine. Since they graze upon grass regularly, horses are prone to get intestinal worms, hence the deworming is required every six to eight weeks.

Remember a healthy horse is a happy horse.

Why do people keep pets? What is that pushes them to spend their extra time, attention, expense on some random animal? Why people are ready to make a pet a part of the family? Some of the obvious reasons can be to shed boredom, to make their children happy, to establish a status in society owning a pedigree or may be just to get a companion. They don’t speak human yet we try to bind them into an owner-pet bond, which not only provides a love-affection binding but a lot more. Though they are categorized as animals and claimed to not understand human emotions, they still and time and again have proved to be our best friends.

So how keeping a pet helps us live better? Let us have a look.

7. Human needs and Benifits

Wilson Family Chickens

Pets were basically used to fulfill needs of humans, for domestication. The poultry and dairy pets are kept for wool, flesh, milk and eggs. The horses and donkeys carry our loads. Some are even for leisure and sports. A dog for protection and cats and other small pets are for companionship and leisure. The basic need was to fulfill our own day to day needs that we began petting animals. With time it has developed from a benificial relationship to a good companionship.

6. Routine your Life

1

Once a pet comes into your life, you get to shed off the procrastination you carry out every day. No matter how lazy you are, you need to get up to feed your pet, clean it up, play with it, may be take it out for walk but overall you will enjoy all of it. With the well on time feeds and walks, regular cleaning and grooming, you will surely end up retuning the clock of your life while doing it for your pet.

5. Increase your social circle

3

Yes that’s true! When you take your pet out for a walk you will always meet up other owners and tend to interact with them. You meet people in training centers, clubs, pet stores, pet shows and public parks. Believe me, you end up going out and making new buddies when you are out there with your pet, the conversation starting by talking about each others pets and their behavior. You may progress from having a cup of coffee together to being really good friends!

4. Family Bonding

2

Children love playing around with pets. They can be one of the reasons for your kid’s joyous day to day activities. Kids can learn to develop affectionate and caring nature from the very beginning, by regular petting and pampering their pets. Even the elderly, who sometimes feel lonely and don’t mingle up with other members of family, get to have a companion and to enjoy lives by spending time with pets. A pet generates affection, laughter fun and exuberance among the people it lives around and hence gets the family together.

3. Relieving Anxiety

4

Touching, petting, pampering, cuddling your pet can reduce stress levels considerably low. Remarkable behavior changes have been observed in prisoners who have been exposed to being with pets. A sense of comfort and satisfaction is observed in spending time with pet. Your pet always tends to divert your mind and attention to pull it towards it. It is scientifically proved that pet owners are less likely to suffer depression than those who don’t have one. There have been many good outcomes of keeping a pet considering health, behavior, fitness stress etc. Also it is very satisfying to take care of another living creature. According to a research, presented in American Heart Association, the stress and blood pressure levels in stockbrokers, who had been on medication, had come down significantly come down, after they took to petting an animal along with medication. The affectionate bond and support can help in reducing stress that is a major contributor to cardiovascular problems.

2. Exercise

5

Well, not all pets can help you stay fit but most of them can. Take for example of your pet dog or cat. Regular morning and evening walks is good for your pet and healthy for you too. If you are not a regular gym person then make a habit to go for regular walks with your pet or chase your kitty around playfully. That will not only keep you healthy physically but mentally too you will stay off stress and diverted and devoted towards your pet.

1. Companionship

6

That is one of the most considered reasons for keeping a pet. A new member in family is always welcomed like a guest and so is a pet. Why because you always look forward to develop that bond with your pet. Sometimes even the closest people betray you and you seem alone and lost. But when you have a pet along it gives a sense of comfort and company to be with. A good pet will always try to interact with you or least keep you busy and try building a bond with you if taken well care of.

The smallest breed of dog in the world, Chihuahua got its name from the Chihuahua state in Mexico. The progenitor of the breed was found in the same place in 1850s though the origin of the breed is still deduced from many different theories. Right from the traces in the Great Pyramid of Cholula and ruins of Chichen Itza to the discovery of a similar looking dog effigy to 1325 AD in Georgia, there are various arguments over the breed’s origin. History is by-gone, now these little dogs have become the most popular breeds as a toy dog. A litter may have pups that may differ drastically in weight and size. Chihuahuas give you a good long company of up to 20 years if cared well for. They are good pets to keep and easy to take around. They are feather light so just hold them into your arms and carry on. A quirky breed, it doesn’t need much exercise. If not anything it will be a loyal protective companion at least.

Appearance

1

There are two breeds of Chihuahua, recognized by the hair length- the short haired and the long-haired. The height ranges from 6-9 inches however some breeds even grow to 12 to 15 inches tall while the weight of around 1.8 to 2.7 kilograms is considered healthy. They have big round eyes, ears that stand erect and round or sometimes deer like skull. Their furs can have velvety touch or can be upright like whiskers. Surprisingly the short haired breeds shed more hair than the ones with long hair. The fur color is a mix of hues that range from solido red, cream, brown and spotted.

Temperament & Traits

2

The behavior of the owner greatly affects the behavior of the Chihuahua. Temperamental Chihuahuas can get provoked easily and may even attack, so it is better not to have this breed in a family with small children. Sometimes they may become possessive towards their owner and may even attack in the act of protecting them. Children of 13 years or above can manage with the dog if properly taken care of. Chihuahuas don’t get along well with other breeds as much as their own breeds. Despite being the smallest in the canine family of dogs, they dare to show their bold side at other dogs. They usually sneak into small places making their own den kind of thing. They also love to bury themselves under pillows, blankets, clothes and bottom of beds. Many people treat Chihuahuas like a doll or a baby, carrying them everywhere along, shushing them playfully, ignoring signs of aggressive display and swaying it all off in one or two excuse maybe. But the reality is the temperament of your dog totally depends on how you raise it. They generally get suspicious towards strangers. A  Chihuahua cab be trained to various things including not barking at anyone and everyone. They bark because they usually get suspicious about strangers which is the first sign towards building a tendency of biting.

Health

Veterinarian

Chihuahuas require extra care in case of births and dental care. They also have tendency to have some genetic disorders generally neurological like epilepsy and seizure. They don’t grow equally in a litter, with drastic variations in weight and height among their siblings. Chihuahuas have larger eyes hence more chances of eye infections and watery eyes due to dry air or air-borne allergies. They also shiver when excited, stressed or feeling cold. The ones with shorter coats are less tolerant than their counter breeds. They usually like to be in sun or under blankets to get warmth. They would look for the tiniest sunspot and gather themselves there to warm up. It is recommended to make them wear something warm during winters, specially the breed with shorter hair.

Taking Care

4

People buy toy dogs out of wish, of just to have one, but they don’t realize that a breed this small can be easily injured or stepped over. Now that you know they have tendency to hide under pillows and blankets, you might sit on one, unknowingly or maybe hurt him, while he has slit under the sofa pillow.  Proper care is required towards the breed and they should be always kept under your eyes so that you are assured, they don’t run away and injure themselves. It is better to put them on leash and getting themselves to injury. They jump around and use their front claws like cats, so if you have leather furniture just be careful with this little devil, as they even have tendency to chew off your possessions. Your home should be comfortable enough with not too many holes and spaces as these dogs tend to snug themselves almost everywhere. Chihuahuas shed a lot of hair, but that also depends upon which is it.

Like every dog or any pet for that matter, your Chihuahua requires a lot of attention. If you work late and have  little time for your pet then this breed is not the right choice. Your pet will gift you with its tremendous loyalty and compassion.

If you have ever loved and lost someone, you know just how painful it can be, even more, when you are the one that’s lost. One tends to lose hope and the sense of purpose. One would imagine that it probably is a lot harder for your dear pet. Many a times, one might see a lost animal that has been abandoned by their owners. The validity of the reasons for such an act is unfathomable. Some might give economic instability. Even though that might seem fair, but one must not gamble on the life of an adorable living being with everything to lose, who will love you unconditionally, no matter what. Some of the more unreasonable excuses include the loss of interest in the idea of owning a pet.

Sometimes, it so happens that some elements of the society with less than noble intentions, deliberately try to hurt your pet or in certain cases even steal them. This is probably in response to some tussle between the victim’s family and the person in question, or to try and sell the pet as a source of secondary income, or in worst case scenarios as a victim of animal cruelty. Apart from attempts at moral policing and improving the safety and security of our pets, sadly, there is not a lot that can be done.

hb 2

Or when a pet has sufficiently fulfilled the original purpose of their presence, the owner decides to abandon them. Such as the extremely disciplined dogs used the police department used as sniffer dogs or those in welfare homes, used as guide dogs or for companionship, once old or disabled even if temporarily, are struck off service, often conveniently termed as ‘retirement’. Such animals have nowhere to be, and are disturbingly found fending for themselves.

Another situation is when the pet itself feels uncared for. Physical abuse although unacceptable, is fairly common in many homes. Using violence as a form of training, especially, is common among many a pet owners. Sometimes, the pet is yet another accessory for an owner, present in the household just to satisfy a temporary whim. Pets usually tend to adjust to the various kinds of people they are with, but sometimes when things get beyond their capability to bear, they try to break free and run away in the hope of finding a better life, which may or not be an eventuality.

hb3

Popular media including books and movies, including the highly successful series of ‘Homeward Bound’ are based on instances when a dearly beloved pet of some family is lost. Such pets could be dogs or cats or any other animal. The movies give relatable accounts of what happens when the pet has been left behind accidentally or deliberately. The pet somehow successfully finds its way back home and into the hearts of those responsible for their being missing. The animated movie ‘Bolt’ is a classic depiction of the love and loyalty that the dog has for the little girl who calls it her own. These pets, in the face of the direst of difficulties, refuse to give up.

Not only in the fictional world, but there have been real stories when a pet has returned home, even after years of being separated from their owners. There was a recent story when a cat came back to its owner after over 10 years, willingly and voluntarily. This was a shock and a surprise not only for the owner, but also those people who believe that cats are selfish and are unattached to their owners emotionally. Dogs that were abandoned or stolen have escaped from captivity and come back home safely, much to the elation of their owners and disappointment of their dog-nappers. These animals have travelled across borders just to be with their owners.

hb4

Animals have a certain sense of direction, an inherent quality of rarely being actually lost. It is fairly simple for them to return to the place call home. They have their own mechanism to mark their territory, relay out signals amongst their own kind, etc. More often than not, it is the human interference that makes matters complicated. If the owner shifts base, the pet now can no longer rely on finding their marked territory to find their owner. Animals are extremely instinctive too. They can sense when they are not truly loved or wanted. So if treated badly, there’s a high chance, they will not make attempts to return to their owner, and would prefer staying on the streets.

As a fellow pet lover, one must always be on the look-out to help owners to find their pets. These pets are just as close to them as a family member, and the pain of losing one is as bad as a missing child. It is admittedly easier to recognize a lost dog from their collar. Cats usually don’t have collars, yet the air about a pet cat is fairly different from that of a street cat, as one might call it. Birds are the hardest to find due to their love of the open skies. Yet, one can always try to bring two loved ones back together.

Zoos spend millions keeping them penned. Even the nicest people love to watch them kept behind concrete, iron bars or bullet proof glasses. Chimpanzees are just like our babies and can do much more than a cat and a dog. They are smart and share 98.5% of the human genes. They need full time attention. You may have to carry the chimp around all the time. The idea of a babysitter will be very unsuccessful. They also throw temper tantrums just like a regular child. However the only difference is that they grow up to be seven times more strong than the human. They may bite and cause serious injury.
People have been keeping chimps as pets for many years now. Many celebrities of the past and the present have owned chimps as well along with people like our next door neighbors. The idea of having a pet is so close to the humans, it is nothing new but that these almost human creatures now raise a lot of dilemmas when it comes to the petting them.
Chimpanzees are also called Common Chimpanzees. The males can grow up to be 150 pounds while the female ones are slightly smaller. They can live for around 50 years, so owning a chimpanzee can lead a big hole in your pocket. Chimps need long years of continuous service which might get monotonous and a little tiring. But they are such a huge packet of entertainment and fun, you will have no knowledge of the passing time in the company of your chimp.
Chimpanzees are very familiar to the humans, perhaps because so much of their behaviour reminds us of ourselves. They are considered great apes list like gorillas, orangutans and Bonobos. They are extremely social and intelligent animals. They are active, strong and very hands on. They usually thrive in social groups of other chimpanzees and groom each other often. So buying two or more chimps together will be helpful for them individually in associating and growing up. Young chimps are declared adults at the age of 13. Once they reach adulthood thy can become quite physical, harmful as well as demanding. This is when many chimp owners leave hope. Therefore petting a chimpanzee comes with a lot of responsibilities altogether. They spend their day much like us, they eat, sleep, socialize and play. Chimps can get bored easily if they have nothing constructive to do. They can also turn aggressive and cause harm.
chimp 1

Earlier many chimpanzees used to be trained as service animals and would help their owners do everything like cooking, opening doors, picking up items, washing dishes and even dialing 911. Some people have trained their chimps to learn sign languages, dress up all by themselves and do so many other things we can never even think about seeing a primate do. It also includes using the remote to watch television, eat from the plate all by themselves, play with toys made for a human child.
It is also important that chimpanzees are toilet trained while many owners make them wear diapers. They can learn if taught properly. Besides they can also perform activities like eating from the plate with a knife and a fork, picking up toys just like a young boy learns to do.
Chimpanzees are omnivores which mean they eat both plants and animals. Fruits, leaves, insects, eggs, tree bark, nuts and ocassionally even smaller animals have been observed to be consumed by the wild chimps. And who doesn’t know about bananas being their favourite food, just like ice-creams are ours. While in captivity, their primary diet should be formulated and nutritionally complete. While these primary diets offer much of what a chimpanzee needs, they lack in encouraging the foraging behaviour which is such an important part of their mental stimulation. Breaking open the nut, picking leaves off the branches, biting into fruits, slicing the banana are activities necessary for their well-being and should be encouraged in addition to feeding the primate diet. The basic states that if your chimp weighs 100 pounds, he should eat about four pounds of food in a day which is ideally adjusted to maintain his body weight. However if you feed your chimpanzee delicacies, spaghetti, keep it on a diet of fast food or take it out for Chinese, he will obviously live and grow but not a long or either a healthy life.
Regular veterinary visit ensures their healthy lifestyle. Heart disease, dental disease and diabetes are common in them. Every primate should be closely monitored for the diseases. Vaccinations discussed with the vet should only be given according to the correct schedule.
chimp 2

Chimpanzees are atleast four times as strong as humans and hence need a durable enclosure to keep them contained when you are unable to watch them. A single room or a large outdoor enclosure dedicated to your chimp along with plenty of ropes, swings, play – items can be a perfect residential home for them. Usually they need bigger space to move around and exercise. If they are made to sit ideal in one place for long hours, they will be depressed and fall sick. Proper play and playmates will provide the best platform for wise channeling of his energies. So in case you remain busy and outdoor for most part of the day, it’s always suitable to but two chimpanzees together so that both can complement each other and never get bored. Glass windows should be protected from being shattered by a strong chimp throwing items towards it.

Let’s say there’s someone who really loves animals, someone who genuinely cares for animals and would find it a privilege to be able to own a pet. But due to some reason is unable to fulfill this wish of theirs. Financial constraints, lack of space, unavailability of time to devote to them or incompatibility with the other members of the household. Sometimes, one’s profession is such, that it demands constant travel. This translates to inability to take proper care of the pet. In cases like these, there is a need for establishments that cater to such people. A place where one can go and live the life they have always dreamed of.

The concept of petting zoos first came into the picture when the London zoo started a children’s zoo with domesticated animals and trained wild animals, which they could play with, touch, pet and even feed. With time this idea grew and spread to other cities around the world. There are places that are still reluctant to accept the idea of opening up their zoos for human contact. The apprehension could be due to the investment that it requires in terms of capital and staff. While at the same time, some might say that there’s a certain risk factor involved for people and animals alike. One cannot expect every person to be genuinely caring towards the animals. Certain people including children find it amusing to try and harm or pester the poor creatures. Similarly, some time an animal might be particularly unpredictable.

But zoos, where this experiment has been successful, vouch for the increased acceptance and popularity of animals as an integral part of one’s well being, compared to where one could only view them from beyond safety enclosures. It is also an effective source of revenue generation as well as increased employment opportunities amongst professionals trained in handling animals. The importance of affinity towards animals was propagated through such an experience. Awareness towards how they should be treated was also generated. Hands on experiences are useful in making professions to do with animals, an evidently viable career option too. It also helped to change the thought amongst people that one must stay away from animals. One needs to be careful but not scared of them. As a result people got an opportunity to experience bonds with animals. One could explore the love that any animal feels for someone who treats it right, whether they are pet, domestic or even wild, in most cases.

The animals that are usually considered for petting zoos are well trained. Domestic animals such as cows and goats are often used. Some wild animals that are harmless are also present. Alpacas, llamas, monkeys, pythons and even kangaroos are often found to be some of the popular choices. Guinea pigs, turtles, birds, miniature donkeys, rabbits and ponies are especially loved by young children. The zoos provide the patrons with relevant food, to ensure the health and well being of the animals is not compromised, and at the same time it is convenient for them. Food often fed to them includes hay, grass or crackers based on the animal in question. This is an exception to the general rule of not feeding zoo animals.

Animal lovers will tell you that the mere petting of an animal can successfully help you release the stress and tension of regular day-to-day life. Even watching them go about their business at leisure soothes the nerves. A genuinely happy animal can transmit similar feelings into those around it. Their lovable and adorable nature makes one feel special in an instant. Scientific studies have proven the benefits of constant interaction and contact with animals. Kids benefit especially from pet animals, and since one may not be able to own one, having a place where they can experience the joys of being a pet owner, even for a short time, can help make the child less aggressive, sharper and a better human being.

While there are innumerable benefits of contact with animals, one needs to be aware if they are allergic to any particular animal. Some people might be prone to allergic reactions to animals such as cats, or animal hair. If so, one must avoid any contact with them, at the risk of fatalities. Apart from that, there is also the risk of transmitting diseases to and from the animals. Hence, it is critical to properly cleanse yourselves before and after coming in contact with them.

Along the lines of petting zoos, cat cafes are now popular in some eastern countries especially Japan. These cafes allow people to interact with cats exclusively at nominal charges. The physiological and psychological benefits of petting cats are well documented, especially among the elderly. The purring sound that they emanate while being petted is deemed to be comforting for most people. Their unassuming, no-fuss temperament is highly appreciated by cat lovers. There is an increasing need of establishments along such lines considering the kind of lifestyle that is becoming common lately. A place where one can rejuvenate among silent, loving, non-judgmental creatures that help you relax without asking for anything in return.

What could be more rewarding than giving a second chance to a homeless dog whose family moved and decided not to take him along or one born a stray in an empty warehouse or give your love to a dog from an abused home. Whatever his story, there is a dog out there who wants to put his sad life chapters behind him and write a happy ending with you.
Adopting a dog from a shelter is another scope for finding a perfect partner at home. Do not fear of bringing a ‘damaged material’ to home. Shelter Dogs are often very loving and eager to win your heart. You are not only giving a grateful pooch a new leash of life, you will gain a faithful friend who will brighten your every single day.

I assure everyone that if you bring such kinds of dogs home, your life will change for the good. Arthur Conan Doyle once said that ‘a dog reflects family life’. Dogs make our lives complete. Its amazing how much love and laughter they bring into our world. They teach us about living each day with unbridled exuberance and joy, about seizing the moment and following your heart. They teach us to appreciate every single little thing- a walk in the woods, a fresh snowfall etc. As they grow old and achy, they teach us how to show optimism in the face of adversity. They show selflessness and above all unwavering loyalty. So why need a human partner when animals are so much better?

In today’s world, to be on the top requires immense hard work. Work for unending hours, no food, no quality sleep, no space, no outings and relaxation. In such situations, one craves for some companionship. Any kind of comraderie is welcome. One who listens calmly as you vent out your everyday frustrations, someone you can unabashedly crib to after a tiring bad day at work, someone who will never complain, always be there beside you, everyday, punctually, whom you can share your happiness and achievements with. They will never be angry on you, never backstab you, never show jealousy and will never fake this friendship. This is where a pet dog comes to your rescue, showering unending love, faith, honesty, loyalty and joy. There is no other source of comfort than a pet at home. Choosing the correct one according to your convenience is all that you need to do.
A dog remains on your side from the main door of the house, wagging its tail, jumping over-enthusiastically like it’s been waiting for long extended years. It gives you company as you contemplate the bigger mysteries of life. The best thing about dogs are that they know exactly what you need from them, they leave no opportunity to impress you. If you are in a happy mood, they will love to play with you. If you need comfort they will comfort you with a rub or a nudge. If you want solitude, they will switch on to become silent onlookers. They will give you all that they are capable of without irritating or disturbing you. A dog will follow you blindly. Whichever command you give, hey are always at your beck and call.
Dogs are trustworthy. You go out with your entire family, keeping your dog at guard; no burglar will dare to break inside. Your dog will sit bold and strong on the main entrance, with his big, angry eyes sparkling in the darkness, thus scaring away every possible intruder. Never will they think of coming back again.

There are many couples who plan to buy a new dog immediately after marriage. Since, they are always tensed about the safety of their newborn. Besides, there is also your dog who needs attention frequently. Whom to give more time? How to make the dog accustomed to this new family member? Your pet dog is an excellent babysitter. They are loyal and protective. Nobody’s going to hurt your baby when your dog is curled up around him. Your baby will grow up to become a wonderful person if kept in contact with your dog because they are highly inculcated with moral values which babies will learn quickly from them.
Dogs are also great friends of the elders. Growing old is an inevitable part of this journey of life which everyone undertakes. It comes with a reduction of worldly duties and responsibilities. But sadly, it also comes with a fair share of health troubles, slow recovery, onset of isolation, less quality time with the family etc. Pet dogs are the best effective way of combating lonliness and keeping the vulnerable heart healthy. Dogs understand them. They take love as well as give love. They bond up with the elders easily by giving a patient ear for everything they have to say and repeat and dogs respond sincerely. Your dog will make them feel wanted. They uplift their spirits, keep their morales high. They ensure their safety and comfort. Communication between the two becomes a regular feature of their daily schedules. Dogs treat the elders sensitively which keeps them calm; this is a proficient support system when the person’s health is degrading fast. Your pet dog is a passive companion to everyone who needs them the most.

So when you have an all-rounder doggy partner at home, independent, caring, honest and a good listener, why do you need somebody else? Because no other human being can assure you with the permanency of your relationship, but dogs can. Not a single person is trustworthy but a dog is. Every single person acts superficially but a dog never does. Every single person is bound to change but a dog? Now you know the answer.
